Phil’s professional background includes years of experience at both global law firms and major technology companies. He enjoys learning about exciting new technologies, as well as engaging in negotiations and using his experience and legal knowledge to advance his clients’ business goals. He has been the principal lawyer responsible for technology / IP matters on significant deals in the software, online services, semiconductor, wireless and telecommunications industries, among others.
Before joining Peregrine Law Group, Phil worked as a Senior Attorney for the Server and Tools Business at Microsoft, where he was primary counsel to the Developer and Platform Evangelism Group. He has also practiced with law firms on the West Coast (including Cooley Godward Kronish), Tokyo (Nagashima, Ohno & Tsunematsu), and Jerusalem (Yigal Arnon & Co).
